BOWHUNTERS! Here’s your chance to hunt white-tailed deer in renowned and highly coveted
Pike County Illinois on a private farm! Two hunters will have exclusive access for a 5-day
white-tailed deer archery hunt on the 80-acre Jack Lanter Farm. Located between Pittsfield and
Nebo Illinois, 140-180” class whitetails are readily taken in this area and the farm has been
actively managed for deer, has food plots and some blinds setup, and is surrounded by excellent
habitat in all directions.

Access to the property only - no meals or accommodations, but remote tent or RV camping is
allowed.
This can be a guided hunt by the landowner or unguided, where the landowner will meet with
hunters and provide details of the property and knowledge of deer movements and use
patterns, as well as hunting tips for this property.
State of Illinois Requirements:
Hunter Education requirement: According to Illinois law, all hunters born after January 1, 1980,
must complete hunter education certification unless they can provide proof of previously
holding a valid hunting license in Illinois or another state. Online Certification - If you are 18
years old or older you may complete the online course and receive your Hunter Education
certification. This option is provided by outside companies and there is a fee charged for the
service. The Illinois authorized providers are, www.huntercourse.com or www.huntered.com In
Person, instructor led classes. Interested individuals may call 1-800-832-2599 or check class
schedules.
Hunters are also responsible for having a valid 2022 Illinois hunting license and deer tag.
Non-Residents can purchase over the counter archery tags starting on August 2, 2022.
Hunt is valued at $4,000. All proceeds go to Team LOL.
