Lead 19th Century Chinese Export Canton Bowl
Description
Fine 19th Chinese porcelain export Canton Bowl! Exterior is covered with birds, flora, and foliage. More flora on the interior with Chinese courtyard and people scenes. 6.25H x 14W inches. Very good condition with no visible chips, cracks or repairs. Canton ware porcelain was manufactured in the province of Ching-Te Chen. After being molded and fired in kilns, it was sent to enameling shops near the port city of Canton and shipped to England and America. This piece is from a fine, Chinese owned estate, near Atlanta.
