This sale features the personal property for Ms. Boyce (George) Billingsley of Bentonville, Arkansas. They were staunch supporters of the University of Arkansas, as well as very gracious benefactors to the U of A's mission. The Razorback Tennis teams practice and compete in the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center to this day. Ms. Boyce was a pillar of the Northwest Arkansas community and she will be missed greatly. In addition to Ms. Billingsley's estate items, we have many jewelry items from the Dr. Anne Wilson-Schaef estate, as well as a collection of museum quality African antiquities from the Congo region. These items were collected for years by the missionaries in that region. Many artifacts were donated to the Smithsonian Institute, and others were bequeathed to the new missionaries in the 1960's. Our seller was gifted these while serving on the mission field then. She is still serving and the proceeds from the sale of these African items will fund her current mission efforts to Peru. She is 84 years young and going strong! This catalog will be built from July 2nd through September 13th.
